Dennis ‘Denny’ Kristoff

Dennis “Denny” Kristoff, 80, of Kaska, passed away peacefully Thursday at Lehigh Valley HospitalCedar Crest, Allentown.
Born in MaryD, June 25, 1937, he was a son of the late George and Estella Bunk Kristoff.
He was a member of Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, New Philadelphia, and a lifetime member of the Kaska Volunteer Fire Company.
He was a self-employed heavy equipment operator for K&P Coal Co. for many years and retired from Stoudts Ferry Preparation Co.
He was a loving family man and a strong, hard worker. Denny was a kind of man that was always there to lend a helping hand to all. His memory will be cherished by his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Lenny Kristoff.
Denny is survived by his wife of 59 years, Emma Rizzuto Kristoff; one daughter, Denise Miller and her husband, Jeff, Kaska; two sons, Dennis Kristoff Jr. and his wife, Theresa, Pottsville, and Michael Kristoff and his wife, Rebecca, Kaska; three brothers, George Kristoff, Bristol, William Kristoff, Levittown, and Bernard Kristoff, Tuscarora; two sisters, Joanne Nothstein, Kaska, and Arlene Tomey, New Philadelphia; uncle, Edward Kristoff, Brockton; several grandchildren; step-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at Holy Cross Church, New Philadelphia, with the Rev. Ronald J. Minner as celebrant. Viewing will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at Thomas J. Bartashus Funeral Home, New Philadelphia. Interment will be in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
