William J. “BJ” “Will” Long, 26, of Sum­mit Sta­tion, passed away Thurs­day in Friedens­burg.

Born in Pottsville on July 2, 1991, he was a son of William and Denise Thomp­son Long, Schuylkill Haven.

He at­tended Blue Moun­tain High School and was em­ployed by Pleas­ant Val­ley Homes, Pine Grove.

William was a lov­ing son and brother, as well as a won­der­ful fa­ther. His son, Damien, was ev­ery­thing to him.

He was pre­ceded in death by two un­cles, Michael Joseph Long and James Grabarek Long.

In ad­di­tion to his par­ents, William is also sur­vived by a son, Damien BrantlechtLong; a sis­ter, Paige Long; pa­ter­nal grand­par­ents, Ni­cholas and Ju­dith Shestok, Or­wigs­burg; ma­ter­nal grand­par­ents, Joseph and Carol Stock, Sum­mit Sta­tion; aunts and un­cles, Liz­a­beth Con­klin, John Long, Ju­dith Cor­rell, Patricia Koehler, Yvonne Thomp­son, Kevin Thomp­son, Matthew, Michael and Su­san Shestok; cousins; nieces and neph­ews.

A Cel­e­bra­tion of Life me­mo­rial ser­vice will be held at 2 p.m. Wed­nes­day at Ebling-Stabin­gas Fu­neral Home, Cres­sona, with the Rev. Cur­tis Ze­men­cik of­fi­ci­at­ing. A vis­i­ta­tion will be held from 1 p.m. un­til the time of ser­vice Wed­nes­day at the fu­neral home. In­ter­ment will be pri­vate at the fam­ily’s con­ve­nience. In lieu of flow­ers, the fam­ily re­quests do­na­tions in William’s mem­ory be made to Damien’s Ed­u­ca­tion Fund at any San­tander Bank branch.
