liquor officers cite 3 businesses
Three Schuylkill County businesses have been cited by the state Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for various infractions of the state Liquor Law.
· Raudy’s Tavern LLC, 60 Valley St., New Philadelphia, for selling alcoholic beverages between april 1 and 28 with an expired liquor license; and, for between March 2015 and March 2017 for failing to notify the liquor board of entering into, modifying or terminating a management contract.
· american Legion Home Association of Frackville, 40 S. Mahanoy St., Frackville, for failing to maintain complete and truthful records for the period prior to May 3, 2017, concerning the Small Games of Chance Act; failing to submit annual reports to the state Department of revenue regarding Small Games of Chance between Feb. 2 and July 25, 2017; selling alcoholic beverages to non-members at various dates; failing to operate small games of chance in conformity of the Small Games of Chance Act; employees failure to return records to the licensed premises within 24 hours of a request by the Enforcement Bureau; conducting unlawful weekly drawings in violation of the Small Games of Chance Act; and selling small games of chance after the Small Games of Chance License expired.
· Salute LLC, 300 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, failing to maintain complete and truthful records covering the operation of the premises immediately prior to Sept. 6, 2017.
the charges will now be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties between $50 and $5,000, impose a license suspension or revocation and mandate training for the licensee.
