Big Di­a­mond hosts USAC sprints, mon­ster trucks

FORESTVILLE — Big Di­a­mond Speed­way will be open three days this week­end.

The track will host the wing­less USAC East Coast Sprints, the Amer­i­can Rac­ing Driv­ers Club midgets, street stocks and road­run­ners in an 8 p.m. pro­gram to­day.

The en­tries among the East Coast Sprints will in­clude 2016 Big Di­a­mond 358 mod­i­fied track cham­pion Ryan Godown.

Ticket prices are $14 for gen­eral ad­mis­sion, $12 for se­nior cit­i­zens and free for chil­dren ages 10-and-un­der.

The track will host the Al­lS­tar Mon­ster Truck Tour, along with Tough Trucks and freestyle mo­tocross, at 7 p.m. Satur­day and 2 p.m. Sun­day.

Ad­mis­sion each day costs $25 for gen­eral ad­mis­sion and $10 for chil­dren ages 6-10. Chil­dren ages 5-an­dun­der are ad­mit­ted free.
