HARRISBURG — State Sen. David G. Argall, R- 29, Rush Township, has been named at Guardian of Small Business by the National Federation of Independent Businesses, according to a press release.

NFIB is a small- business association that recognized several members of the General Assembly who achieved a 100 percent voting record on key small business issues in the current

legislative session. In response to receiving the award, Argall, according to the release, said publication officials “have an obligation to create a job- friendly environment” in the commonwealth and added that small businesses “are responsible for employing half of the workers in the United States and by building up our many local small businesses, we can encourage more economic and popu

lation growth across Berks and Schuylkill counties.”

A 100 percent score, according to the release, shows that Argall voted in favor of small businesses and independently owned companies every time an important vote was taken during the 2017- 18 legislative session.
