Work­shop slated at ever­green acres

AUBURN — Peo­ple may par­tic­i­pate in a work­shop to make a nat­u­ral ever­green wreath or a swag from 10 a. m. to noon Nov. 3 at Ever­green Acres, 135 Fort Le­banon Road ( off Route 61 on Route 895 west to­ward Auburn).

Par­tic­i­pants will cre­ate their own ever­green swag for $ 10 or wreath for $ 20 with a sup­ply pack­age that in­cludes greens, wire, rib­bon, dec­o­ra­tive ma­te­rial and ad­vice from Schuylkill County Mas­ter Gar­den­ers on how to keep them “fresh and beau­ti­ful,” ac­cord­ing to a re­lease.

Peo­ple should send their $ 5 reg­is­tra­tion fee plus project pay­ment to Penn State Ex­ten­sion, Mas­ter Gar­den­ers, 1202 Ag Cen­ter Drive, Pottsville, PA 17901, with checks made out to Penn State Univer­sity. The reg­is­tra­tion dead­line is Oct. 26.
