POTTSVILLE — The Le­high Val­ley Heart In­sti­tute will host a com­mu­nity ed­u­ca­tion and aware­ness pro­gram re­gard­ing car­diac care at

6 p. m. Tues­day in the Wall Au­di­to­rium at Le­high Val­ley Hospi­tal– Schuylkill E. Nor­we­gian Street Cam­pus, 700 E. Nor­we­gian St.

Drs. Justin Guthier, D. O. and Nghia Hoang, D. O., physi­cians with LVHI, will present in­for­ma­tion about atrial fib­ril­la­tion.

At­ten­dees will learn about atrial fib­ril­la­tion, more com­monly known as Afib, and the “in­no­va­tive treat­ment op­tions that are avail­able for peo­ple that have ir­reg­u­lar heart­beats,” ac­cord­ing to an in­sti­tute press re­lease.

Signs and symp­toms of Afib will be dis­cussed and all ques­tions will be an­swered.
