Angelina Laudeman, 90, of Minersville, passed away Tuesday at Lehigh Valley Hospital- Schuylkill E. Norwegian Street.
Angelina was born in Minersville, Sept. 13, 1928, a daughter of the late Carmello and Maria Bonina Sofia.
She was the widow of Paul Laudeman, who died Dec. 9, 1985.
She was a member of St. Michael t he Archangel Church, Minersville, and of the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Minersville.
She worked in the local garment factories for many years and continued her love of sewing for her family. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Paul, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Carmella Schoffstall, Anthony, John, Joseph, Julian and Anthony Sofia.
Angelina is survived by two daughters, Phyllis Wanchalk and Diana Dodds; two sons, Michael Laudeman and David Laudeman; 10 grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren.
A graveside service will be held 11:30 a.m. Nov .16 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Minersville, with the Rev. Christopher M. Zelonis officiating. Janet L. Frederick, 84, of Williamstown, passed away Friday morning at her home.
Born in Landing ville, March 3, 1934, she was a daughter of the late George and Helena Dei bert Schwenk.
She was a graduate of Pottsville High School.
Janet was a retired seamstress from the garment industry.
She was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church, Wiconisco.
Janet’ s life revolved around her family; they meant the world to her. She enjoyed traveling and doing cryptograms.
She is survived by her husband, Jacob “Jake” Frederick; three sons, Chris Shutt and his wife, Janette, Williamstown; Gene Shutt and his wife, Annette, Tower City, and Scott Frederick and his wife, Jessica, New Bloomfield; six grandchildren, Brooke, Marissa, Tiffany, Mallory, Alyssa and Alexander; one sister, Joyce Sponsler, Tower City; one brother, Floyd Schwenk, Lykens; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday from Calvary United Methodist Church with the Rev. Lori Betsworth and Pastor Annette Shutt. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Viewing will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Michael P. Nolan, 41, of Pottsville, passed away Nov. 2 at Geisinger.
He was a son of Susan Fiedler Nolan and husband of Carla Murphy Nolan.
Also surviving are his children, Cara, Gabe, Cathryn, Carter, Jordan, Domanic and Nicholas; brothers, Walter and Thomas; sister, Kelly; grandchild, Wyatt.
