Manayunk Cocktail Week to return nextweek.
MANAYUNK » Manayunk businesses will celebrate the craft of the cocktail by hosting the third annual Manayunk Cocktail Week from Monday, Nov. 6, to Sunday, Nov. 12.
The week-long celebration will host 100 events at 20 different venues.
Throughout the week, participating bars and restaurants will offer signature cocktails using featured products from sponsor Breakthru Beverage, including Hendrick’s Gin, Stoli Elit, Shackleton, Chila Orchata, Templeton Rye and Fernet-Branca. Participating bars and restaurants will also host a variety of cocktail-related events, such as Martini Monday at Winnie’s on Nov. 6, Bourbon Blue’s annual pig and whiskey dinner on Nov. 7, the annual fried chicken dinner with The Goat’s Beard on Nov. 9 and various food collaborations and pairings at Lucky’s Last Chance.
In addition to the week of events, Breakthru Beverage and the Manayunk Development Corp. have teamed up to raffle off a branded Fernet-Branca bike. Follow @manayunkdotcom on Instagram to find out how to win the bike and to see where the bike will be hanging out each night of Cocktail Week.
“Manayunk Cocktail Week is a great opportunity to sample and learn the tastes that Manayunk has to offer — both foods and drinks,” said Manayunk Development Corp. Executive Director, Jane Lipton. “Our restaurants and bars work very hard to put this weeklong event on, and we’re happy to do it for the third year in a row.”
The Manayunk Development Corp. encourages Cocktail Week patrons to drink responsibly and avoid drinking and driving by using car share apps, taxis and designated drivers to get to and from their Manayunk destinations during the week.
