Manayunk Cock­tail Week to re­turn nex­tweek.

MANAYUNK » Manayunk busi­nesses will cel­e­brate the craft of the cock­tail by host­ing the third an­nual Manayunk Cock­tail Week from Mon­day, Nov. 6, to Sun­day, Nov. 12.

The week-long cel­e­bra­tion will host 100 events at 20 dif­fer­ent venues.

Through­out the week, par­tic­i­pat­ing bars and restau­rants will of­fer sig­na­ture cock­tails us­ing fea­tured prod­ucts from spon­sor Break­thru Bev­er­age, in­clud­ing Hen­drick’s Gin, Stoli Elit, Shack­le­ton, Chila Or­chata, Tem­ple­ton Rye and Fer­net-Branca. Par­tic­i­pat­ing bars and restau­rants will also host a va­ri­ety of cock­tail-re­lated events, such as Mar­tini Mon­day at Win­nie’s on Nov. 6, Bour­bon Blue’s an­nual pig and whiskey din­ner on Nov. 7, the an­nual fried chicken din­ner with The Goat’s Beard on Nov. 9 and var­i­ous food col­lab­o­ra­tions and pair­ings at Lucky’s Last Chance.

In ad­di­tion to the week of events, Break­thru Bev­er­age and the Manayunk De­vel­op­ment Corp. have teamed up to raf­fle off a branded Fer­net-Branca bike. “Manayunk Cock­tail Week is a great op­por­tu­nity to sam­ple and learn the tastes that Manayunk has to of­fer — both foods and drinks,” said Manayunk De­vel­op­ment Corp. Ex­ec­u­tive Di­rec­tor, Jane Lip­ton. “Our restau­rants and bars work very hard to put this week­long event on, and we’re happy to do it for the third year in a row.”

The Manayunk De­vel­op­ment Corp. en­cour­ages Cock­tail Week pa­trons to drink re­spon­si­bly and avoid drink­ing and driv­ing by us­ing car share apps, taxis and des­ig­nated driv­ers to get to and from their Manayunk des­ti­na­tions dur­ing the week.
