Sus­pect sought in Manayunk com­mer­cial bur­glary.

MANAYUNK » Po­lice are seek­ing the pub­lic’s help in iden­ti­fy­ing a sus­pect in the bur­glary of a Manayunk store.

A man forced open the front door to the Ver­i­zon store lo­cated at 4320Main St. at 5:04 a.m. Fri­day, Oct. 27, ac­cord­ing to the Philadel­phia po­lice.

Af­ter un­suc­cess­fully at­tempt­ing to gain ac­cess to the safe, the man fled the scene, ac­cord­ing to po­lice.

The sus­pect is de­scribed as a white male with a short beard wear­ing a red St. Joseph’s Univer­sity Hawks hooded sweat­shirt, ac­cord­ing to po­lice.
