The 21st Ward Veterans Association held a candlelight prayer vigil at Gorgas Park to commemorate the 17th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Bruce Hoffman, president of the 21st Ward Veterans Association, acted as master of ceremonies. State Rep. Pam DeLissio, D-194, and clergy from various churches in the community spoke, lauding the bravery of first responders on the scene. The Roxborough Ridge Runners also displayed some vintage cars at the event.
