Oliveira, Yvonne

The Sacramento Bee - - Nation & World -

At the stroke of midnight on All Souls day, Nov. 1, 2018, Yvonne Oliveira graduated from this world and became a permanent resident of heaven. She died peacefully in her sleep after suffering the effects of a tragic accident. She is survived by her daughter Jackie, her son Chris, daughter-in-law Linda, son-inlaw Joe and the pride of her life her grandchildren Annique, Megan and Nathan. She and her late husband Louie came to Sacramento in 1955 from China and proudly became American citizens and members of St. Ignatius parish. Besides being a Mom, Yvonne was busy living out her Catholic beliefs. She worked at the cathedral in religious education for 20 years, volunteered at Kaiser visiting patients, volunteered at the children’s’ receiving home and volunteered at private nursing homes. She will be missed by her may friends at her last residence the Campus Commons senior living center.
