Event-goers created homemade signs for a Saratoga Peace Alliance vigil Wednesday on Broadway in Saratoga Springs. In response to KKK recruitment fliers found downtown over the weekend, Saratoga Peace Alliance conducted a vigil Wednesday night, Valentine’s Day, outside of the U.S. Post Office at the corner of Lake Avenue and Broadway in Saratoga Springs. Residents joined together to counter a message spread last weekend when fliers were handed on Broadway as well as found on cars Sunday morning. The event, a “Celebration of the Open Hearts,” featured music, singing, praying and planning for what to do next.
