Deputies: Man faces charges af­ter his threat

MIL­TON, N.Y. » A man was ar­rested af­ter au­thor­i­ties re­ceived a re­port he threat­ened to blow up the Saratoga County Dis­trict At­tor­ney’s Of­fice, deputies said.

Adam D. Sipe, 31, of Ballston Spa, was charged Fri­day with mak­ing a ter­ror­is­tic threat, a felony, and en­dan­ger­ing the wel­fare of a child, a mis­de­meanor.

Deputies said Sipe was ar­rested af­ter a re­port about the threat was in­ves­ti­gated. Deputies said when they at­tempted to place Sipe in cus­tody he fled in his ve­hi­cle. His 2-year-old son was also in the ve­hi­cle, deputies said. Sipe was ap­pre­hended a short dis­tance away, deputies said.

Sipe was ar­raigned in Town Court and held pend­ing fu­ture court ap­pear­ances.

The child was turned over to a fam­ily mem­ber.
