Deputies: Man faces charges after his threat

MILTON, N.Y. » A man was arrested after authoritie­s received a report he threatened to blow up the Saratoga County District Attorney’s Office, deputies said.

Adam D. Sipe, 31, of Ballston Spa, was charged Friday with making a terroristi­c threat, a felony, and endangerin­g the welfare of a child, a misdemeano­r.

Deputies said Sipe was arrested after a report about the threat was investigat­ed. Deputies said when they attempted to place Sipe in custody he fled in his vehicle. His 2-year-old son was also in the vehicle, deputies said. Sipe was apprehende­d a short distance away, deputies said.

Sipe was arraigned in Town Court and held pending future court appearance­s.

The child was turned over to a family member.
