Crowds filled the 98-foot length of Bridge Street on March 17 for the First Ever 11th Annual World’s Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The festivities began early in the day with the annual pre-parade lunch where guests were able to mingle with the official parade starter “Duck Dynasty’s” Mountain Man, the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and celebrity grand marshal Actor Jim Belushi. Lifetime Hot Springs residents Tom and Mary Daniel served as Shamrock king and queen, attending the Arkansas Blarney Stone kissing contest and throwing beads to the parade attendants.
