COY’S HOUSE DRESSING
Do you remember Coy’s Steak House? Well, in 1986 my mom gave me a tiny little cookbook “A Great Taste of Arkansas” and boy did I find some gems.
Coy’s House Dressing was the pearl of the book! If you ever dined there you know how addictive the warm crackers and House dressing could be. They brought it the table when you were seated. Here it is and I hope you make it today and make it often.
-1 cup salad dressing
-1 cup mayonnaise
-1 1/8 teaspoon paprika or more
-1/4 cup MSG (I do not use this)
-1 tablespoon lemon juice, fresh
-1 tablespoon white vinegar
-2 or 3 cloves garlic, minced
-1/2 cup evaporated milk
-1 tablespoon sugar (I use stevia)
Blend everything in a blender until smooth. This is also a good dip for veggies and very good on sandwiches.
