HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — The Sanitation Department would like to remind Hot Springs Village residents of the solid waste collection procedures.

Residential customers are limited maximum of four 40-gallon waste cans.

Sharp objects, including broken glass and used medical supplies, should be placed in a separate container before placing in bag, to avoid injury to sanitation crews. to a

Yard waste, special collection items, or building materials shall not be mixed with household solid waste, and will not be collected with regular household solid waste.

A yard waste tag is required on each bag, bundle or can. Tags may be purchased at the POA Administration Building in the Public Works office, 895 DeSoto Blvd. There is a limit of 50 bags per collection.

Special collections, like furniture, appliances, water heaters, grills, metal, and wood, must be placed within 5 feet of the road. Special collections are billed at $25.75 per trip necessary to pick up all materials placed for collection.
