Johnny R. James

MALVERN — Johnny Ray James, 59, passed on Aug. 18, 2016.

He was born in Malvern on May 15, 1957, to Roosevelt and the late Illia Fay (McRae) James.

Survivors, father Roosevelt James, of Malvern; children, Troy James, Steven Ray James and Daaron McAdoo, all of Malvern, Melisha Nolen, of Desert Hot Springs, Calif.; three brothers, Jimmy (Brenda) James, of Fayetteville, N.C., Herbert (Alice) James, Larry James, and two sisters, Lanita (Herbert) Beard, all of Malvern, Valita (the Rev. Charles) Hood, of Benton; 11 grandchildren, one great-grandson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. today. Family hour 6-7 p.m. Both at the funeral home.

Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday at Victory Praise & Worship Center.
