DEPARTMENT HONORS FALLEN

Garland County sheriff’s Chief Deputy Jason Lawrence presents Baton Rouge Police Department Chief of Police Carl Dabadie with a memorial bench Wednesday in honor of Cpl. Montrell Jackson and Officer Matthew Gerald who were fatally shot on July 17. Two benches were built and donated by Tri-Lakes Ornamental Iron Works, and were delivered by Lawrence and Deputy John Schroeder to the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Department and the Baton Rouge Police Department.
