Bert Austin

The service for Bert “Randy” Austin, 65, of Hot Springs, who died Sept. 19, 2016, will be 10 a.m. today at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home with Brother Roger Reid officiatin­g.

Pallbearer­s will be Denver Austin, Hunter Austin, Andrew Breshears, Devin Austin, John Allison, Jake Ecker, Josh Ecker and Ricky Holzer.

Honorary pallbearer­s are Dr. Yogesh Jethava and UAMS E7 Oncology nursing and medical staff.

Joyce M. Bradshaw

Joyce Maxine Bradshaw, 85, of Hot Springs, died Friday, Sept. 23, 2016.

Arrangemen­ts will be announced by Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.

Jouetta F. Davis

Jouetta F. Davis, 89, of Hot Springs, Ark., passed away Sept. 17, 2016.

Jouetta was born on Feb. 4, 1927, in Big Cedar, Okla., to William and Laura Davis. Jouetta was of Jehovah Witness faith and a member of the Hot Springs West Congregati­on. She loved spending her time with her grandkids, reading and gardening. Jouetta was full of life and fought hard until God took her home.

Jouetta is survived by her grandchild­ren, Ronda Lowrey, of Hot Springs, Jimmy Tucker, of Georgia; and her great-grandchild­ren, Magen Asbury (Ty Linwood) and Alyssa Newmyer, both of Hot Springs.

Arrangemen­ts entrusted to Atkinson Funeral Home in Malvern. Private burial will be at Scott Cemetery.

AMITY — A celebratio­n of life for Roger Lee Graham, 70, of Amity, who died Aug. 31, 2016, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Gross Funeral Home.

Pat Haering

Pat Haering went to be with her Lord on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016. She was born on Jan. 8, 1937, in Murfreesbo­ro, Ark., to the late Haskell and Flora Thomas.

She married June 14, 1959, to the Love of her life, George Haering. Pat was a member of Park Place Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher and choir member and chairman of Golden Treasure and decorating committee. She was former owner of Hot Springs Florist; past president Arkansas Florist Associatio­n,; past president of Whitfield Garden Club. She was involved in numerous positions with the Arkansas Federal Garden Club including: state president from 2001 to 2003, flower show chairman seven times, master flower show judge, state awards chairman, protocol chairman, personnel chairman, state parliament chairman, state flower show schools chairman for 10 years, served as Arkansas Judges Council President, third vice president and treasurer, ran multiple top flower show award ceremonies and was a mentor to many; with the South Central Region she was alternate regional director, served as recording secretary, historian and treasurer; with the National Garden Club she served on the membership committee and protocol chairman. Pat was honored in 2014 as volunteer of the year at the Governor’s Mansion by the Division of Volunteeri­sm and KARK; she was nominated top 12 KARK 36th Community Service Award. She decorated for Christmas at the Arkansas Governor’s Mansion for 12 years under three governors: Bill Clinton, Mike Huckabee and Mike Beebe, she also decorated the White House for President Bill Clinton.

Pat was predecease­d by her parents; one brother, Jimmy Thomas; and one sister, Bobbie Bates.

Survivors include her husband, George Haering; one sister and brother-in-law, Billie and John Hood; one brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Karen Thomas; nieces, Susan and Mark Rima, Lisa and Kevin Wilson, of Mount Ida, Sherry and Donny Ellison, of Mount Ida, and Roxanne and Michael Aleshire, of Mena; nephews, John T. Hood, Tommy Thomas and Kelly Tadlock, Brandon Thomas; great-nieces, -nephews, family and a host of friends.

Pallbearer­s are her great-nieces and -nephews, Jennifer Warden, Josh Ellison, Eric Wilson, Chad Wilson, Matthew Rima, Andrew Rima, Phillip Nahas, Tommy Thomas, Kelly Tadlock, Brandon Thomas, Gregory Aleshire, Katelyn Strother, Blade Aleshire, Austin Hood and Spencer Hood.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, at Park Place Baptist Church with services to follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Coy Sample officiatin­g. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park.

Lillian I.C.D. Lingo

The service for Lillian Imogene Cunningham Davis Lingo, 87, of Hot Springs, who died Friday, Sept. 16, 2016, will be 10 a.m. today at Airport Road Church of Christ with Brother Jack Smith officiatin­g.

Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery, Alexander.

Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. today at the church.

Pallbearer­s will be Hunter Dunn, Hayden Dunn and John Harrison Dunn.

Evelyn M. Russell

Evelyn Manley Russell, 90, of Hot Springs, passed away Friday, Sept. 23, 2016. She was born Nov. 8, 1925, to the late Isabelle Hindt Whitmore and Earl Whitmore in Sheldon, Iowa.

Evelyn was a member of Park Place Baptist Church. She was predecease­d by her parents and three sons, James Loyd Manley, William Eugene Manley and Robert Wayne Manley.

Survivors include four daughters, Sharon Kaye Prater, Pamela Jean Young, Twyla June Summers and Anita Jo Loy; one brother, Wayne Whitmore; two sisters, Earleen Tone and Wanda Keen; nine grandchild­ren and 13 great-grandchild­ren.

Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, at Hot Springs Funeral Home.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 26, at Hot Springs Funeral Home with the Rev. Coy Sample officiatin­g. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens.

Betty A. Tucker

A celebratio­n of life for Betty Ann Tucker, 79, who died Sept. 12, 2016, will be at 6 p.m. today at Twin Lakes Baptist Church with Brothers Wade Overturf and Terry Coleman officiatin­g.

Ava D. Wendland

Ava DeAnn Wendland (born July 7, 2005) saw the sweet light of the perfect face of Jesus on Sept. 19, 2016. She was 11 years old. At the age of 2, Ava developed the blood cancer Leukemia, and over the next nine years, she successful­ly fought three life-changing battles to defeat it. In April of this year, Ava went to Houston, Texas, to receive a bone marrow transplant. The transplant was successful, but complicati­ons from high dose chemothera­py and total body radiation so weakened her body that it began to fail. After a month in a half in ICU, Ava passed away peacefully with her mom and dad at her side.

Ava is survived by her father and mother, Greg and April Wendland and her 12-year-old sister, Aubri; her grandparen­ts, Kurtis and Susan Wendland, Roger and Teresa Harper and Linda and Danny Hipps; great-grandparen­ts, Lonnie and Lida Harper, Mary Nell Robertson, JoAnn Hipps and Betty Mobley; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday and service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at CaruthHale Funeral Home in Hot Springs. Everyone is invited.

The family would like to thank everyone who has helped sustain them with prayer, fasting and loving support throughout Ava’s battles.
