Presentation set on hearing loss

Cochlear Americas will offer a presentation on implantable hearing solutions at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 9 in the Coronado Community Center, 150 Ponderosa Lane.

Attendees to this free event will be able to learn about hearing loss, hearing implant solutions and which people may benefit from this technology. Recipients who already benefit from the implant will be present to share their experiences.

Unlike hearing aids, hearing implants are covered by most insurance plans and Medicare.

Coffee and pastries will also be provided.
