Jerry Dean Al­lensworth, 67, of Bis­marck, went to be with the Lord on July 27, 2017. He was born in Texarkana, Ark., on April 8, 1950, to Elmer and Ethel Al­lensworth.

Jerry at­tended First South­ern Bap­tist Church in Bis­marck. He re­tired af­ter 30 years with Cater­pil­lar and moved to Bis­marck, where he cre­ated Coun­try Charm B& B and Log Homes. He also was the co-founder of the Bis­marck Busi­ness As­so­ci­a­tion and the Bar­beque Bash. Jerry was a log home dealer for 10 years with Ap­palachian Log Struc­tures Com­pany. His hob­bies in­cluded rais­ing rac­ing pi­geons, fish­ing, golf­ing and gar­den­ing.

He is pre­de­ceased by his par­ents and spe­cial aunt, Jessie Lowe.

Lov­ing sur­vivors in­clude his de­voted wife, Mar­i­anne Al­lensworth; daugh­ter, Rachel Daw­son; grand­chil­dren, David and Emily Daw­son; three brothers, Wayne, Jack and Glen Al­lensworth; and nu­mer­ous nieces and neph­ews.

Fu­neral ser­vices will be 10 a.m. Tues­day at Caruth-Hale Fu­neral Home with Brother Evan Smith of­fi­ci­at­ing.

Pall­bear­ers will be his neph­ews. Hon­orary pall­bear­ers are Wayne Lowe, Kevin Ben­nett, Larry Spann, Butch Graves and Sonny Wether­ing­ton.
