Jerry Dean Al­lensworth, 67, of Bis­marck, went to be with the Lord on July 27, 2017.

Fu­neral ser­vices will be 10 a.m. Tues­day at Caruth-Hale Fu­neral Home with Brother Evan Smith of­fi­ci­at­ing.

Pall­bear­ers will be his neph­ews. Hon­orary pall­bear­ers are Wayne Lowe, Kevin Ben­nett, Larry Spann, Butch Graves and Sonny Wether­ing­ton.

Har­vey Joe Bai­ley, 85, of Pearcy, went to be with the Lord on Thurs­day, July 27, 2017.

Ser­vices will be held at 2 p.m. to­day in Pearcy Bap­tist Church with Bro. Phillip Mil­lard of­fi­ci­at­ing.

In­ter­ment will be in Beaton Ceme­tery, near Bis­marck, un­der the di­rec­tion of Davis-Smith Fu­neral Home, Hot Springs.

Pall­bear­ers will be John Williams, Larry Bai­ley, Jimmy White, Rod­ney Neigh­bors, Dewey Neigh­bors and Bubba Spray.

Hon­orary pall­bear­ers will be the Gar­land County Hunt­ing Club.

Charles M. Bing­ham

Charles Melvin Bing­ham of Bis­marck, Ark., went to be with his Heav­enly Fa­ther on July 27,

2017. He was born in Beaton, Ark., to Charles Ed­ward Bing­ham and Prim­mie Lee Grigsby Bing­ham, and raised in Bis­marck. Charles, age 77, was an ac­tive mem­ber and dea­con of First Bap­tist Church in Bis­marck.

He was a re­tired Post­mas­ter of Bis­marck, hav­ing 31 years of Fed­eral Ser­vices. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, hav­ing served from 1958-1962 with the 496 Quar­ter­mas­ter Com­pany at Fort Lee Vir­ginia and the Mem­phis Gen­eral Depot. He re­cently had at­tended a re­union in eastern Ken­tucky with his old mil­i­tary bud­dies.

He was mar­ried to the for­mer Pa­tri­cia Ann Walker on June 30,

1961. He is sur­vived by two chil­dren, Michael Charles Bing­ham (wife Laura) and Tanya Marie Her­ron (hus­band Ken­neth); five grand­chil­dren, Daniel Hol­sap­ple, Kristina Hol­sap­ple, Sarah (Bing­ham) Wash­burn, Re­becca Bing­ham and Matthew Bing­ham; sis­ter, Al­pha Bing­ham Ur­sich of San Pe­dro, Calif; nieces Luci, Liza, Mau­reen and Mar­garet; and neph­ews, Frank, Bob, Stan, Steve, Lee, and Ed­die San­ders.

He and his two chil­dren and all five grand­chil­dren grad­u­ated from Bis­marck High School. He was pre­de­ceased by his par­ents Charles and Prim­mie, and four sib­lings, Mau­reen Sut­ton De­ich­meis­ter of Alexan­dria, Va., Pauline Bing­ham Pasley of Bis­marck, Mar­garet Sut­ton Tarp­ley of Bis­marck and Dozier Lin­sey Sut­ton of Mesquite, Texas.

He loved to drive, which en­abled him to visit most of the United States, in­clud­ing Alaska, as well as Canada.

Charles Melvin Bing­ham an­swered his call to the ac­tive mis­sion field by teach­ing God’s Party Line from his home, spon­sored by First Bap­tist Church. God’s Party Line serves as a tele­con­fer­enc­ing method of teach­ing the gospel by reach­ing shut-ins liv­ing at home, in the hos­pi­tal, etc. He was tremen­dously blessed by be­ing able to par­tic­i­pate in God’s Party Line dur­ing his lengthy ill­ness.

Pall­bear­ers will be Jim Hardage, Sonny Wether­ing­ton, Gary Cooper, Richard Hen­son, Don Massey, Gary Burroughs, Steve Pasley and Stan Pasley. Hon­orary pall­bear­ers are Dale Allen, Dea­cons of First Bap­tist Church, Dr. Larry Frost, Don Comp­ton, Kevin Hol­sap­ple, Dr. Ray Bollen and staff, Larry Spann, and Dr. Rhonda Gen­try and staff.

Visi­ta­tion will be held at noon to­day at First Bap­tist Church with fu­neral ser­vices to fol­low at 2 p.m. For­mer pas­tor Brother Jeremy Greer of Lub­bock, Texas will be preach­ing the ser­vice with cur­rent pas­tor Evan Smith of Bis­marck. In­ter­ment will be at Pleas­ant Hill Church of Christ Ceme­tery in Bis­marck, Ark.

Lola R. Hunt

Lola Ruth Hunt, 86, of Hot Springs, Ark., went to be with the Lord July 28, 2017.

She was born Au­gust 10, 1930, in Okolona, to Ge­orge and Lourene Wing­field Mil­loway.

She was pre­ceded in death by her hus­band, Ovid Dou­glas Hunt; her par­ents; sis­ters, Bil­lie Dean Mil­loway, Kath­eryn Sue Tram­mel, Mary El­iz­a­beth Shoe­maker and Peggy Jean Mitchell; and brothers, Ge­orge Mil­loway and Ken­neth Mil­loway.

Sur­vivors in­clude a daugh­ter, Karen Friedel (Terry); and grand­chil­dren, Richard and John Friedel, all of Vic­to­ria, Texas; and brothers, Joe Mil­loway (Janelle) of Red­field and Jimmy Mil­loway (Loretta) of Knoxville.

Ser­vices han­dled by Ralph Robin­son & Son.

Joan Marie Wright, 71, of Hot Springs, passed away Fri­day, July

28, 2017.

The Rosary and visi­ta­tion will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tues­day, Au­gust 1, 2017, in the chapel of Gross Fu­neral Home.

A Catholic Mass will be held at

1 p.m. Wed­nes­day, Au­gust 2, 2017, at St. John’s Catholic Church with Fa­ther Ge­orge San­ders of­fi­ci­at­ing.
