Highway 70E work leads to lane closures
From 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Friday, eastbound and westbound traffic on Highway 70 east will be alternately closed due to milling and paving work from the ongoing construction to widen the highway, Arkansas Department of Transportation officials said in a release.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane through the work zone, beginning at County Road 369 and continuing west for a quarter of a mile, and flaggers will be present. Motorists should use caution while traveling through the area and may want to seek an alternate route, such as Highway 270 east.
