Printing the Word

The Sentinel-Record - - VIEWPOINTS -

Dear editor:

I am a person who loves to read God’s word. The Bible always shows me new things if I open my mind to what God is imparting. I also enjoy reading the occasional letters from Lloyd Hoffman, Mary Robinson and others who read the Word. So, this Scripture really gave me a good message when I found it recently.

“But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you’re blessed. And do not fear their intimidation, and do not be troubled. But sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence. And keep a good conscience so that in the thing in which you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame,” 1 Peter 3:14-16.

As long as The Sentinel-Record keeps printing the Christian Word, keep sending it. “Blessed are those who hear the Word of God and observe it,” Luke 11:28. Shirley Roe Mountain Pine
