Bobby J. Otwell
Master Sgt. Bobby Jean Otwell, USAF retired, 89, of Hot Springs, Ark., passed away Monday, April 16, 2018.
He was born Dec. 7, 1928, in Hot Springs, Ark., to the late John Franklin and Elsie Lee (Price) Otwell. Bob served three years in the U.S. Navy and 19 years in the U.S. Air Force as a jet engine mechanic. During his time in service, he served in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. After retirement, he worked for St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center for 20 years in the Maintenance/Engineering Department. He was a member of Hot Springs Baptist Church, where he volunteered with the grounds crew as long as health permitted. Bob was a former member of the Masonic Lodge
754, Sherwood, Ark.; the Scottish Rite, Little Rock, Ark.; and the Ahmed Shriners Temple, Marquette, Mich. He also enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, golf, camping and music.
Bob is survived by his wife of
60 years, Anita Jean (Radcliff) Otwell; son, Marc (Tina) Otwell; grandchildren, Taylor Otwell (Abigail) and Darian Blair (Tyler); and great-grandchildren, James Otwell, Victoria Otwell and Barrett Blair.

Graveside service will be held at Hollywood Cemetery on Wednesday, April 18, for family and dear friends, under the direction of Gross Funeral Home.
