Diamond Squares club has ice cream social today

Diamond Squares Square Dance Club will host an ice cream social to celebrate the success of its new dancers from 6:30-8:30 p.m. today at The Legends Clubhouse, 150 Legendary Trail. Have you done “rubber band dance,” “if you want to,” “progressive squares,” line dance, Virginia reel? All easy stuff, so everyone is welcome. AARP driver safety class at NPMC

An AARP Smart Driver course will be sponsored by National Park Medical Center at 8:30 a.m. June 21. Qualified graduates are eligible for an auto insurance discount.

There is a $15 fee for AARP members and $20 fee for nonmembers to cover course materials. Bring your driver’s license and, if applicable, AARP membership card. Call 620-2705 to enroll.
