Jones to address NACCP today
The NAACP will hold its monthly meeting at 2 p.m. today at the Webb Community Center with the Rev. Douglas A. Jones, a native of Hot
Springs, as guest speaker.
The youngest son of Rev. Douglas E. and
Gladys Jones, and the husband of Laquilla Jones, the Rev. Jones has been the senior pastor of Garrett Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Hope for around five years.
Jones is the president of the Music Worship and Arts Auxiliary of the Southwest District Association. He is also the owner of Scripted Ink Screen printing.
The NAACP is the nation’s oldest civil rights organization.
