Bridge­port Park, 23521 Bridge­port Lane, Santa Clarita http://www.duck­race.com/ scv Satur­day, Oc­to­ber 14, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Free to at­tend, Adopt-a-Duck at $5 a piece All pro­ceeds from this event go to­ward pa­tient care ser­vices at SDFHC, which of­fers af­ford­able, qual­ity, pri­mary health care for res­i­dents of the Santa Clarita Val­ley. In ad­di­tion to the rub­ber duck races, the event in­cludes a food court area, with pop­u­lar gourmet food trucks, ven­dors and non-profit com­mu­nity part­ners, a stage and pro­gram filled with lo­cal talent and per­form­ers, and a “Kid Zone” area, com­plete with a rock climb­ing wall, face-paint­ing, air bouncer, games, ac­tiv­i­ties, and more. Santa Clarita is pleased to an­nounce its high tea event is open to the public. En­joy scones with clot­ted cream, jams, English pea salad, as­sorted tra­di­tional tea sand­wiches, and desserts.
