Lo­cal stu­dents per­form in spring con­cert

Mem­bers of Alver­nia Uni­ver­sity’s Cho­rus and Con­cert Band per­formed a spring con­cert in Fran­cis Hall Theater, Satur­day, May 6.

Di­rected by Jen­nifer Micha­lik, and ac­com­pa­nied by Diane Dunkel­berger on pi­ano, Alver­nia Cho­rus sang 10 songs in­clud­ing “Burn” — from the smash Broad­way hit “Hamil­ton” — for which Re­becca Dunst per­formed sign lan­guage. The con­cert band, di­rected by James Sei­del, per­formed sev­eral pieces, in­clud­ing “Amer­i­can Flour­ish,” “Ac­co­lada,” A Percy Grainger Suite,” and “Crosley March.”

English ma­jor Re­becca Dunst of Read­ing sang Alto
