SALT Performing Arts presents Tony award-winning ‘Lend Me a Tenor’
Chester Springs: SALT Performing Arts present the Tony award winning show Lend Me a Tenor, winner of 3 Tony Awards and 4 Drama Desk Awards, along with a delicious catered dinner provided by Limencello Restaurant through June 25.
Gather a group of friends, or have a date night, for an unforgettable dinner theatre experience right in Chester Springs. SALT Performing Arts is proud to announce their next production, Lend Me a Tenor, written by Ken Ludwig. Set in the 1930s, Lend Me a Tenor is a madcap screwball comedy that takes place when Tito Merelli, the fiery-tempered and world famous Italian superstar, arrives in Cleveland, Ohio to make his debut with the local opera and promptly goes missing. As Saunders, the show’s presenter, conspires to cover for Tito’s absence, placate his hot-blooded wife, and distract his most passionate fans, chaos on a truly operatic level ensues.
Patrons will enjoy this production while dining on a delicious meal catered by Limoncello Restaurant, included in the $40 ticket price. Menu includes items such as Insalata Caesar, Rigatoni all Vodka and homemade tiramisu. A cash bar will be on site.
Tickets can be purchased at saltpa.com. Show starts at 7:00 pm or 2:00 PM depending on date and runs about two hours total for show and dinner. You’ll be able to indicate at check-out who else you would like to have at your table.
