Travis Coy Hunter
Travis Hunter passed away on October 20, 2017.
Born on May 14, 1977, Travis lived life adventurously and with a big heart. Those who truly knew him were blessed with his huge kilowatt smiles, humorous personality and sweet heart. He walked his own walk, and owned his life.
Some of Travis’ proudest accomplishments were achieving a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, winning a wrestling Pennsylvania State Championship while graduating high school from the West-Mont Christian Academy in 1996, serving his country in the Navy on the USS Kitty Hawk until 1999 and his membership in the Carpenters Union.
Travis loved working on projects around his house, as well as helping out friends and family with their projects at a moment’s notice. Travis also had a passion for tending to his garden, sharing the harvest, spending time hunting with his father and feeling the wind against his face while riding his motorcycle.
Above all, Travis’ proudest accomplishments were his three children, Tru, Karis and Carly.
Travis is also survived by his parents Randy and Judy Hunter, sister and brother-in-law Mandy and Scott Lobaugh, niece Brooke Mullen and nephew Trevor Lobaugh, grandparents Doug and Ginny Snyder, Charlie Miller, along with an incredible family unit of aunts, uncles, cousins and large family contingency living in Arkansas.
