Soc­cer Club hosts ‘Pink Out Night’

On Fri­day, Oct. 20, the Amity AC Soc­cer Club hon­ored fam­i­lies and friends who have been af­fected by the fight against can­cer. The club painted the fields pink dur­ing their “Pink Out Night” with all of the chil­dren wear­ing pink socks and the coaches putting on their pink coach­ing shirts to take the fields that night.

With a recre­ational pro­gram hold­ing over 200 kids rang­ing in ages 3 to 10, the fields were quite a sight. Amity Soc­cer is mak­ing this an an­nual event in Oc­to­ber to raise aware­ness for the fight against can­cer.
