Of­fi­cials break ground on new avi­a­tion mu­seum

BOY­ER­TOWN >> A brand new mu­seum was of­fi­cially wel­comed in Boy­er­town Oct. 18.

Of­fi­cials cut the rib­bon at the ground­break­ing cer­e­mony for the Gen­eral Carl Spaatz Re­gional USAAC Mu­seum.

The new mu­seum, which is ex­pected to open in the sum­mer of 2019, will fea­ture au­then­tic avi­a­tion ar­ti­facts from World War II. It will also fea­ture 10 full ex­hibits and six in­ter­ac­tive dis­plays as well as unique hands-on ex­hibits.
