The City of Aragon will be hosting a citywide cleanup between April 26 and April 29 for Georgia Cities Week. Bring old trash including furniture, appliances, electronics or anything that needs to be disposed. NO TIRES WILL BE ACCEPTED. Aragon residents will need to provide an ID to drop off trash. Drop off times are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 26 through April 28, and 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. April 29. Call the City of Aragon for more information at 770684-6563, or visit cityofaragon.com.
The City of Aragon is celebrating Georgia Cities Week, and included in the week of events is a Photography contest. Photos are being accepted for the contest for any age, so long as it pertains to a City of Aragon theme and hasn’t been previously published. All photos must be 8x10 inches, and entries must include a name, address and contact number. All entries are due by April 14, 2017 at 2 p.m. at City Hall. Photos will be judged by staff and narrowed down to two entries, which will be picked by the Aragon City Council on April 20, when a winner will be announced.
