Elkridge man ar­rested af­ter stop

EAS­TON — An Elkridge man was ar­rested Mon­day, Oct. 24, and charged with crim­i­nal mar­i­juana pos­ses­sion af­ter a traf­fic stop for speed­ing in Eas­ton.

Ac­cord­ing to Eas­ton po­lice, of­fi­cers stopped 39-year-old Ti­mothy Ger­man for ex­ceed­ing the speed limit on state Route 322, the Eas­ton by­pass.

Po­lice said of­fi­cers smelled mar­i­juana dur­ing the stop, searched Ger­man’s ve­hi­cle and found three ma­son jars con­tain­ing var­i­ous quan­ti­ties of sus­pected mar­i­juana, along with sus­pected mar­i­juana candy and hash oil.

Ger­man was ar­rested and later re­leased on per­sonal re­cog­ni­zance. He is charged with pos­ses­sion of mar­i­juana over 10 grams and pos­ses­sion of drug para­pher­na­lia.
