Wayne Leon Trice passed away at home in Fed­er­als­burg, MD, on Satur­day, July 29, 2017. He was 68 years old.

He was born on Novem­ber 1, 1948 in Eas­ton, Mary­land, the son of the late Leon Fran­cis Trice, and the late Mary Jane Jester.

He grad­u­ated from Colonel Richard­son High School in 1967. He is sur­vived by his wife the for­mer Mar­i­lyn Vir­ginia Wal­ton of 49 years. They mar­ried on Oc­to­ber 14, 1967. He was a Book Bin­der at Cad­mus Jour­nal Ser­vices, for­merly Waverly Press, for 39 years be­fore re­tir­ing in 2010.

He loved to work on an­tique cars and mo­tor­cy­cles. Since he could fix any­thing there were al­ways many projects he had in progress. He also loved bird watch­ing as well as all the dif­fer­ent types of farm ma­chin­ery. Most of all, he loved spend- ing time with his fam­ily and friends.

He is sur­vived by his wife, Mar­i­lyn Vir­ginia Trice, a son, Dar­ren Wayne Trice, a daugh­ter, Melinda Lynn Trice, his grand­daugh­ter, Abi­gail, his sis­ters, Bon­nie Sal­mons and her hus­band Jack, Susan Long and her hus­band John, and sev­eral nieces and neph­ews.

Funeral ser­vices will be held on Tues­day, Au­gust 1, 2017 at 2 p.m., at the Framp­tom Funeral Home in Fed­er­als­burg, MD with a vis­i­ta­tion hour from 1-2 p.m. In­ter­ment will im­me­di­ately fol­low the ser­vice at nearby Hill Crest Ceme­tery.
