Bal­ti­more man cited, driv­ing un­der in­flu­ence

EAS­TON — Eas­ton po­lice on Satur­day, Oct. 20, is­sued a Bal­ti­more man traf­fic ci­ta­tions charg­ing him with driv­ing un­der the in­flu­ence of al­co­hol and/or drugs.

Po­lice said they stopped a ve­hi­cle in the area of U.S. Route 50 and Lo­max Street after see­ing it cross the yel­low line and al­most hit the guard rail.

Po­lice said the driver, Louis A. Marshall, 43, had blood­shot and glassy eyes. His speech was slowed and slurred, po­lice said.

Based on the re­sults of so­bri­ety tests, along with ad­di­tional tests, Marshall was taken into cus­tody, po­lice said.

He was is­sued traf­fic ci­ta­tions charg­ing him with driv­ing while im­paired un­der the in­flu­ence of al­co­hol or a con­trolled dan­ger­ous substance, and driv­ing un­der the in­flu­ence of al­co­hol and or a CDS.
