Trappe man issued DUI citations
EASTON — Easton police issued traffic citations to a Trappe man on Saturday, Oct. 20, charging him with driving under the influence of alcohol.
According to police, Robert H. Bridge Jr., 44, was driving south on Easton Parkway and crossed the white line several times.
Police said officers stopped the vehicle and smelled an alcoholic beverage coming from Bridge’s breath. Police said his eyes were glassy and bloodshot.
Police asked Bridge to exit the vehicle and perform Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. Officers then saw an open Budweiser beer in the driver side door, police said.
According to police, Bridge refused to complete any tests.
He was issued traffic citations charging him with driving while under the influence of alcohol, driving while impaired by alcohol, negligent driving and failure to drive right of center.
