HARTLY, DEL. — Loretta Marie (Lins) Cable of Hartly went home to be with the Lord on Wed­nes­day, Nov. 7, 2018, in her home, sur­rounded by her lov­ing fam­ily. She was 81.

Born in Phoenix, Md., on Feb. 15, 1937. The daugh­ter of the late Mau­rice and Hilda Mae Turn­baugh Lins.

Loretta worked at the Old Vita Foods in Ch­ester­town, as a house­keeper at Wash­ing­ton Col­lege and worked sev­eral years in Ridgely ware­house. Loretta en­joyed cro­chet­ing, and hours a day in the yard, plant­ing flow­ers and trim­ming things up.

She is sur­vived by her hus­band of 38 years, Gary M. Cable; two broth­ers, Mau­rice and Tommy Lins, both of Ch­ester­town; and many nieces and neph­ews. In ad­di­tion to her par­ents, she was pre­ceded

in death by sis­ters, Dorothy Ad­di­son, He­len Lewis, Eva Mae Mer­chant; broth­ers, John W. Lins, Ralph E. Lins and Wal­ter Gor­don Lins.

Fu­neral Ser­vices will be held 4 p.m. on Sun­day, Nov. 11, at Pippin Fu­neral Home Inc., 119 W. Cam­den-Wy­oming Ave., Wy­oming, Del., where fam­ily and friends may view from 2-4 p.m.
