LEX­ING­TON – Fu­neral ser­vices for Luke Matthews King, 59, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sun­day, Novem­ber 11, 2018 at Caugh­manHar­man Fu­neral Home, Lex­ing­ton Chapel. Memo­ri­als may be made to Pawmetto Life­line, 1275 Bower Pkwy., Columbia, SC 29212 or a char­ity of one’s choice.

Mr. King was born Fe­bru­ary 5, 1959 in New­berry, SC, and passed away on Mon­day, Novem­ber 5, 2018. He was a son of the late Dr. Wil­liam Wy­man King, Jr. and Adele All­ston King. Mr. King grad­u­ated from New­berry High School in 1977 and from the Uni­ver­sity of South Carolina in 1981 Cum Laude, af­ter which he went on to ob­tain his MBA. He grew up in New­berry, but lived in Lex­ing­ton. He worked for NCR as the Di­rec­tor of Prod­uct Man­age­ment and es­tab­lished Goodfel­las Bar and Grill, as well as South Lake Ma­rine in Lex­ing­ton. He was a mem­ber of United Methodist Church in New­berry.

Mr. King is sur­vived by his brother, Bill King (Lau­rie McCrackin King); nephew, Wy­man King; step-mother, Brenda King; step-sis­ters, Rose­mary Arthur (Cliff), Angie Tay­lor (Tim); step­nieces, Me­gan, Mary Ash­ley and step-neph­ews, Will and Walker. He was pre­de­ceased by his par­ents and sis­ter, Jan­ice Adele King.
