WEST COLUMBIA – Fu­neral ser­vices for Gla­dys Jean Stew­art Cousins, 73, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Satur­day, Novem­ber 10, 2018 at Caugh­man-Har­man Fu­neral Home, West Colum- bia Chapel, with in­ter­ment to fol­low in South­land Me­mo­rial Gar­dens. The fam­ily will re­ceive friends one hour prior to the ser­vice at the fu­neral home. Memo­ri­als may be made to Alzheimer’s As­so­ci­a­tion, 140 Stoner­idge Dr., Ste. 210, Columbia, SC 29210.

Mrs. Cousins was born Fe­bru­ary 22, 1945 in Nor­folk, VA, and peace­fully went to her heav­enly home on Tues­day, Novem­ber 6, 2018. She was a daugh­ter of Eu­gene F. and Emily G. Stew­art. Gla­dys was a home­maker and mem­ber of Trin­ity Bap­tist Church Cayce. Through­out her life, she faith­fully served in ev­ery facet of church min­istry and shared the gospel of Je­sus Christ, her Lord and Sav­ior.

Mrs. Cousins is sur­vived by her hus­band, Joe S. Cousins, Sr.; sons, Joe S. Cousins II (Jen­nifer) of Lex­ing­ton, Keith A. Cousins (Melissa) of Mont­gomery, AL; grand­chil­dren, Matthew Cousins (Tabitha), Caitlin Blake (Cameron), Sa­van­nah Cousins, Vic­to­ria Smith (Bran­don), Emily Cousins; great-grand­chil­dren, Grayson and Liam; broth­ers, Rev. David Stew­art, De­lano Stew­art (Jan­ice); sis­ter, Dorothy Fowler (Harold); sis­ter-in-law, Brenda Stew­art and nu­mer­ous nieces and neph­ews. She was pre­de­ceased by her par­ents; her brother, Wil­liam Stew­art; nephew, Wil­liam "Billy" Stew­art; sis­ters-in­law, Lois Stew­art, Mar­garet Cousins and Florence Brewer, and broth­ers-in-law, Ge­orge Cousins and Eu­gene Brewer.
