Robert “Bobby” Joseph La­Fontaine, Jr., age 70, passed away on Wed­nes­day, Novem­ber 7, 2018 at his home peace­fully sur­rounded by his fam­ily in Saucier.

Bobby was born to Robert and He­len Bond La­Fontaine in Gulf­port, MS. He was a mem­ber of Poplar Head United Methodist Church.

Bob­by­wasas­tarath­lete­and grad­u­ate of Har­ri­son Cen­tral High­School.After­high­school, Bobby was drafted into the Unit­edS­tateArmyand­served in the Panama Canal Zone. He­wasamem­beroftheSheet Metal Work­ers Union #214 in Ba­ton Rouge, LA.

He is pre­ceded in death by his fa­ther, Robert La­Fontaine.

He is sur­vived by the love of his life, Carolyn Arm­strong La­Fontaine; his son, Jef­fery La­Fontaine;his­mother,He­len La­Fontaine; his sis­ters, San­dra Robinson (Mike), Linda Pucheu, and Karen Farner (Mac); his mother-in-love, Mary Arm­strong Noe; his sis­ter-in-law, Claire Vereker (Mike); his brother-in-law, Dou­glas Arm­strong (Phyl­lis); nu­mer­ous nieces, neph­ews, and cousins.

A visi­ta­tion will be held on Satur­day, Novem­ber 10, 2018 from 10:00AM un­til the ser­vice at 11:00AM at Coalville United Methodist Church,12298 Shorecrest Rd, Biloxi. A burial will fol­low the ser­vice at Coalville Ceme­tery.

RIEMANN FAM­ILY FU­NERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulf­port is serv­ing the fam­ily.
