“Go­ing into the stu­dio for the first time, it was a mind game: ‘Do I sound the same? Is my dic­tion the same? Does my mouth move the same as it did be­fore?’ ” the coun­try mu­sic su­per­star said in an in­ter­view with Vul­ture.

Un­der­wood, 35, suf­fered a fall about a year ago while try­ing to walk her dogs in Nash­ville, leav­ing her with a bro­ken right wrist and fa­cial cuts that re­quired more than 40 stitches.
