Taos Dems host vote party

The Taos Demo­cratic Party will host a last call to reg­is­ter for vot­ers from 2 p.m. to

11 p.m. Satur­day (Oc­to­ber

6) at the Taos Mesa Brew­ing Mother­ship.

The free event will in­clude live mu­sic and en­ter­tain­ment for reg­is­tered vot­ers and non-reg­is­tered vot­ers can reg­is­ter at the door. Two stages of lo­cal mu­si­cians will be play­ing through­out the event the party is still look­ing for more. The all ages event will wel­come mem­bers of the pub­lic to reg­is­ter for the up­com­ing Novem­ber 6 elec­tion where New Mex­i­cans will vote in a new gover­nor.

Vot­ers can also reg­is­ter to vote via the Taos County Re­pub­li­can Party by stop­ping by their of­fices or call­ing 7411288 to make an ap­point­ment. Vot­ers can reg­is­ter at the Taos County Clerk’s Of­fice, 105 Al­bright Street, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. week­days or on­line at nmvote.

The last day to reg­is­ter for the 2018 elec­tions is Oct. 9 and early vot­ing be­gins Oct. 20.
