MA­CON, GA- Pa­tri­cia Moore Sikes, en­tered eter­nal peace onTues­day, Novem­ber 6, 2018. Grave­side ser­vices will be held on Sun­day, Novem­ber 11, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in­Ma­conMe­mo­rial Park Ceme­tery with the Rev. Rob­bie Jones of­fi­ci­at­ing. The fam­ily will greet friends on Satur­day, Novem­ber 10, 2018 from5:00 - 7:00 p.m. atMa­con Memo­rial Park Fu­neral Home. Flow­ers will be ac­cepted or do­na­tion­s­may be made to the Alzheimer’s As­so­ci­a­tion, 866 Mul­berry St., Ma­con GA 31201.

Mrs. Sikes was born in Ma­con, Ge­or­gia to the late John Trav­isMoore and Flora HodgesMoore. She­mar­ried the lateWyn­del­lHaskell Sikes, Sr. on June 5, 1959, and they had 57won­der­ful years to­gether.

Pa­tri­cia grad­u­ated from McEvoyHigh School in 1959. She wasWilling­hamHigh School’s first Homecoming Queen in 1958.

A de­vout Chris­tian, Pa­tri­cia at­tended Taber­na­cle Bap­tist Church.

Pa­tri­ci­awas a de­voted daugh­ter, wife, mother, grand­mother, sis­ter, aunt, and friend, who will al­ways be re­mem­bered for her end­less kind­ness, lov­ing heart and thought­ful man­ner. She was a beau­ti­ful lady in­side and out. Pa­tri­cia trea­sured her fam­ily and en­joyed plan­ning and host­ing fam­ily gath­er­ings, mak­ing sure she pre­pared ev­ery­one’s fa­vorite dish.

The fam­i­ly­would like to ex­press their grat­i­tude for the­won­der­ful care given to Pa­tri­cia by Iterim Health­care, Sum­mer Bat­tle, DeShonn Proc­tor, Pa­tri­cia Spears, and Hospice Care Op­tions.

Left to cher­ish her lov­ing mem­ory are her daugh­ter, Ch­eryl Sikes Ste­fa­nis and her hus­band, Dr. Ge­orge S. Ste­fa­nis, son, Wyn­dell “Dell” Haskell Sikes, Jr. and hiswife, Jen­nifer DeGood Sikes; four grand­chil­dren who were the loves of her life, Alexandra Ann Ste­fa­nis, Whit­ney Lynn Sikes, Wyn­dell “Dell” Haskell Sikes, III, Jac­que­line Ann Marie Sikes, sis­ters, Jean Moore Bragg, Char­lot­teMoore Reynolds, brother, Larry WayneMoore and his wife, Jan­ice John­sonMoore; all of Ma­con, as well as nu­mer­ous nieces, neph­ews, great nieces and great neph­ews.
