Richard McFalls of King of Prus­sia

Richard T. McFalls passed away peace­fully on Wed­nes­day, Sept. 3, 2014, sur­rounded by his loving fam­ily at Broomall Pres­by­te­rian Vil­lage in Broomall, Pa. He was 82. Mr. McFalls was a res­i­dent of King of Prus­sia, Pa. He worked as a prop­erty man­ager for Amer­i­can Col­lege in Bryn Mawr, Pa. Richard was a very ac­tive mem­ber of Val­ley Forge Pres­by­te­rian Church in King of Prus­sia, where he was a church elder and sang in the choir. He was also a mem­ber of the Phoenixville Coun­try Club and the Early Bird Bowl­ing League, and he en­joyed golf. Richard served on the Up­per Me­rion School Board for over 10 years. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean con­flict.

Born in Philadel­phia, Pa. on June 30, 1932, he was a son of the late Thomas and Florence (Crea­ger) McFalls. Sur­viv­ing is his loving fam­ily in­clud­ing his wife of 58 years, Eileen M. (MacGuire) McFalls; four sons, Robert “Tom” McFalls and his wife, Kathy, of Sch­wenksville, Pa., Steven R. McFalls and his wife, Ann, of Col­legeville, Pa., Bruce R. McFalls and his wife, Maria, of Phoenixville, Pa. and David S. McFalls of King of Prus­sia, Pa.; a daugh­ter, Dorothy E. McFalls, and her hus­band, Thomas, of W. Ch­ester, Pa.; seven grand­chil­dren, Lau­ren, Dana, Shane, Eileen, Jessica, Kayla and Ju­lia; and many other loving fam­ily mem­bers. He was pre­ceded in death by two sis­ters, El­iz­a­beth Thom­son and Dorothy Spauld­ing.

Richard’s Memo­rial Ser­vice will be held at Val­ley Forge Pres­by­te­rian Church, 191 Town Cen­ter Rd., King of Prus­sia, Pa. on Wed­nes­day, Sept. 10, 2014, at 6 p.m. Of­fi­ci­at­ing will be the Rev. Blake Brine­gar, pas­tor.

The fam­ily will re­ceive rel­a­tives and friends on Wed­nes­day from 5 to 5:50 p.m., at the church. In lieu of flow­ers, memo­rial con­tri­bu­tions may be made to the Lewy Body De­men­tia As­so­ci­a­tion, 912 Kil­lian Hill Rd., S.W., Lil­burn, GA 30047 and/or Val­ley Forge Pres­by­te­rian Church, 191 Town Cen­ter Rd., King of Prus­sia, PA 19406.
