Karen Stifnell of Blue Bell

Karen D. Stifnell passed away peace­fully on Sun­day, Aug. 31, 2014, at Mercy Sub­ur­ban Hos­pi­tal in E. Nor­ri­ton. She was 64. Karen was a res­i­dent of Blue Bell. She worked as a regis­tered nurse in the On­col­ogy Depart­ment of Fox Chase Hos­pi­tal. She was a mem­ber of the Amer­i­can Nurses As­so­ci­a­tion and the On­col­ogy As­so­ci­a­tion.

Born in Nor­ris­town, Pa., on Feb. 15, 1950, she was a daugh­ter of Louis “Luch” Stifnell and the late Theresa E. (Mus­catello) Stifnell. Sur­viv­ing in addi- tion to her fa­ther is a son, John Good­child. She was pre­ceded in death by a son, Michael, and a brother, Louis Stifnell.

Fu­neral ser­vices and in­ter­ment are pri­vate.
