Man in possession of fraudulent credentials detained
NORRISTOWN — At noon on Aug. 27 police and a county K-9 unit were called to Crawford Park for the report of an unconscious man. Police arrived to find the man laying in the grass, unresponsive. They were able to wake the man, who told them he had drunk “one beer.” A search revealed that man was in possession of a Social Security card and a permanent resident card that were both determined to be fraudulent through a check with the Department of Homeland Security. The number on the Social Security card belonged to someone else. Both cards were seized and the man was taken to the police station where he was cited, processed and released after police determined he was sober.
Match 6 (Sept. 6): Mega Millions
(Sept. preliminary investigation confirmed that marijuana plants were being grown on the premises.
Ten marijuana plants were seized from the residence, including seven that growing in the backyard. Dried marijuana leaves were also found in a cardboard box by the back door of the house.
According to police, the homeowner admitted to growing the marijuana after signing a written copy of his Miranda rights. He was transported to the police station for processing.
