Rose E. Pulcini of Norristown
Rose E. Pulcini, 89, of Norristown passed away peacefully on Monday, November 13, 2017, at her daughter’s residence where she resided for the last seven years. Born January 28, 1928 in Norristown, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Maria (Puccio) Currera, and loving wife of the late Camillo Pulcini.
Rose worked for 17 years at the Progress Coat Shoppe in Conshohocken as a sorter from 1957 1974. After her time there she went on to work for 16 years as a lab assistant at the Montgomery Hospital from 1974-1990. Rose was a dedicated parishioner of the Holy Saviour Church and lifelong member. In her spare time she enjoyed going to the casino, various day trips and was a frequent patron of many local restaurants. She was an avid family person and cared for them dearly. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and dear friend to all and she will be missed by many.
Rose is survived by one son, Charles (Kathy) Pulcini, of West Chester; one daughter, Lanie (Bill) Deordio of East Norriton; three loving grandchildren, Amy, Kara and Alyssa; a cousin, Nancy Sica; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Eva D’Arcangelo and Rosalie “Sally” Ferreri; and her three brothers, Tony, Bart and Gus Currera.
Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, November 18, 2017, from 10:00 10:50 am, at the Holy Saviour Church 407 E Main St., Norristown, PA 19401. Mass will follow the viewing at 11:00 am at the church. Burial will take place in the St. Patrick’s Cemetery, East Norriton, PA 19401.
